尾崎豊のトリビュートアルバム「blue」を聴く。
きっかけは忘れた（ので誰かフォローしてくれ）が、近年やたらと
トリビュートアルバムが出ている。やっつけ仕事みたいな
ものやアルバムとしてまとまりのないものが多くて（別に
たくさん聞いたわけじゃないが）、正直辟易してた所だったが、
この作品はまさにトリビュートアルバム！といった
らしい仕上がりになっている。
それぞれの演奏者がそれぞれ尾崎豊を愛していることが歌を
通じて伝わってくるということ。それから自分の個性を出しつつも
原曲のイメージを壊さないこと。
尾崎豊のプロデューサーでもあった須藤晃が今回のプロデュースを
手掛けているが、適材適所まとめてあるなぁという印象を受けた。
僕は正直尾崎豊は好きではなかったが、このアルバムを通じて
尾崎豊って結構いい曲作ってんじゃん、と思った。
元の歌聴いてみたくなった。
蛇足だが、岡村靖幸、やっぱり声が出てない。全盛期は結構
いい高音を持っていたのだが。今回「太陽の破片」で参加して
いるが、ごまかしごまかし歌っている感じが否めない。
曲の雰囲気は最高なんだけどなぁ。
