二日目は晴れ。陽射しは強いが、風は冷たい（やっぱり北海道だ）。念の為、
日焼け止めを入念に塗って出陣。
GREENOASIS
昨日既に行っていたTから、かなり狭いとは聞いていたが、全くもってその通りで、
本当にこじんまりとしていた。
始まる前はのんびりした雰囲気が漂っていて、その狭いステージで皆バラけて座って
いたし、つじあやのってことで、てっきりのんびり座ったまま見られるものと思って
いたら、直前に係員がもっと詰めてくださいとアナウンスしたおかげで、結局
立ってみることに。
つじあやの・・・僕がいうのもなんだが、ちっちゃくて、すごく色白。ジャケットの
感じからしてもっとひょろ長い人、というイメージだった。ウクレレオンリーで3曲
弾き語りしたあとバンドが加わって演奏。ウクレレだけよりバンドが楽しくていい。
声がのびやかで思ったよりも通りがよくむしろ力強さが伝わってきた。
MOONCIRCUSへの移動中のエピソードを少し。
マツリタロウ・・・ロックフェスでございます、とかいってステージの合間に太鼓を
たたく男。暑さと疲れで半分頭がラリってたせいか、妙に面白かった。汗だくで
やっていたので、何故かがんばれといってやりたくなった。がんばれと言われる時点
で既にお笑いとしては失格か。
REDSTARFIELDでは無戒秀徳が謎の呪文をアコースティックギター1本で唱えていた。
やけに横文字が多いしこれではラップだ、と思った。
北海道の某FM局でディレクターをやっている旧友に会う。彼がこの会場に来る可能性は
仕事柄あり得ると思っていたが、こちらからアプローチしたらかえって来ないタイプ
なので、ほっておいたら、案の定彼のほうからNに電話があったらしい。何年ぶりに
会ったのに懐かしい話は一切なし。僕なんか会話すらしてねーし。
MOONCIRCUS
San Paulo・・・森俊之と沼澤尚はやはり超ウマい。が、やっている音楽は一流
プレイヤー達のマスターベーションみたいでこういうのCDにしていいのか、と思った。
一番大きなSUNSTAGEへ。いったりきたりでかなりへとへとに。
PE'Z・・・一瞬滅茶苦茶かと思うような演奏の中に一体性がある。拡散していきそう
で実はある一点にまとまっていこうとする、アタックが強いが実は繊細。
そういうイメージ。楽曲の中には歌謡曲的なアプローチもある。ヒーズミマサユキは
日本で今もっとも注目すべきキーボーディストだ。
THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS・・・ステージ中央後方にあっさり入れた。サウンド
チェックの時から思っていたけど、とにかく音圧がすごい。バスドラの音だけで腹痛を
起こしそう。ギターのディストーションもクレイジーなくらいノイジー。あとボーカル
がタフだなと。よくあれだけシャウトしながら歌い続けられるよなぁと。こういう
音楽ってフェスでくらいしか見ないだろうから、ある意味貴重だった。
帰ってきてから思ったのだが、もっと自分のレンジを外れた違うジャンルの音楽を
聞いてもよかった気がする。
一旦テントに戻り、寒さ対策をして、もう一度SUNSTAGEへ。
CHARA・・・テントとSUNの間は片道約20分。おかげで遅刻。映画スワロウテイル
の主題歌あいのうたを歌ってくれるという大サービス。個人的に深い思い入れのある曲
で、ふとその頃のことを思い出した。
SAMURAI IIIをちょっとだけ聞いて、EARTHTENTへ。
サンボマスター・・・ロックの激しさを持っているが、実はコード感がジャジー。
日本のロックバンドはへたくそなバンドが本当に多いが、このバンドは演奏も確かだ。
やや気になるのはMC。最初は面白かったのだが、同じことばっかり言ってて、
そこまでしゃべらなくても音楽の良さは伝わってるぜ、と思った。でも要注目。
ライブ終了後、エルビスという番組からサンボマスターのライブについてのコメント
を撮られた。が結局使われず。変に緊張して素人丸出しだったので、その分ほっと
したような、でも残念かなという複雑な気持ち。
ここでテントに戻って仮眠。さすがに疲れた。最後に備えて少し充電。
テントを3人でたたみ、荷物をまとめてSUNSTAGEに移る。
渋さ知らずオーケストラ・・・ステージの上が人で溢れかえって華やか。それと
バンド全体で奏でる音楽や演出を含め、レトロでアングラな雰囲気がいい。
江戸川乱歩の小説に出てくる道化師とかチンドン屋を想起させる。この一昔前の
昭和テイストが好きだ。でも大きなステージで聞くより、PITINNで聞いた観客参加型
のステージの方が面白かった。
オリジナルラブ・・・いよいよ最後。夜も明けてきた。地平線から太陽が昇る
（まさにライジングサンロックフェスの名にふさわしい）。予想通り朝日のあたる道
をプレイ。雰囲気サイコーです。やっと終わったという安堵感と、あっという間で
名残おしい気持ちが同時にやってくる。素敵なフェスでした。また来たいな。
ステージが全て終了し、僕らはそのまま千歳空港へ。帰りの飛行機は行きとは
打って変わって静か。
皆あっという間に眠りに落ちていたから。
