前々回の日記に東京事変の群青日和が通常CDでリリースでされることが
喜ばしいと書いた。
知らない人のために書いとくけど、CCCDはやっぱりプレイヤーを傷める。
よって、かけようと思うならプレイヤーの故障は覚悟しておいた方がいい。
実際僕のプレイヤーが99％それで壊れたので。Webの記事は結構眉唾が
多いから、とタカをくくってたら自らサンプルになってしまう形に。
僕も基本的にCCCD反対派なのである。
ところで、CCCDを買わないという人がいるが、僕はそういうスタンスが
あることを認めつつもそういう気にはなれない。僕は買わないことによって
CCCDで出すアーティストを一方的に責めたりする気持ちにはなれない。
CD買わないということはレコード会社よりアーティストの方が実際痛い
わけだから。
それにちょっと前ならアーティストの認識不足なんてこともあったが、
今CCCDでリリースされるアーティストは何らかの理由により、CCCDで
出さざるを得ないアーティスト達だろうからだ。
（新人アーティストが、自分達は通常CDじゃないとデビューしません、
なんておいそれと言えるわけがないだろう？）
またCCCDをリリースするアーティストの音楽が全て信用できない音楽
ということでもない。これは聞けば分かることだ。
CCCDがプレイヤーを傷める、リッピングしようと思えば簡単に出来て
しまうということで百害あって一利なしの無駄な技術であることは
確かで、僕自身100％容認できる技術じゃないというスタンスは
変わりない。
だからCCCDは買えない、ならそれでもいいけど、CCCDを買わないことが
レコード会社に対する抵抗だなんて気取っている暇があるなら、
レコード会社に手紙の一通でも書いてくれよ、と思う。
大体一人が一枚買わないくらいで音楽マーケットが揺らいだりする
わけないんだから。
またCCCD出してること自体がロックンロールじゃない、とか言っている
ヤツもちょっとおかしい。そもそもマーケットで売れなきゃアーティスト
だって成立しないんだし、ビジネスであることが前提なんだから、
こんな時にだけ、音楽は神聖だとか振りかざさないで欲しい。
そんなときにだけ子供になるのはやめてくれ。
プロ野球の合併話じゃないけど、本来ならファンとアーティストが
きっちり手を組んでどうしたいかを提言していくべきなんじゃないか
と思うわけで、買わないという行為はただ単にそうことを放棄している
という意味でCCCDを買うやつと大して変わらないのである。
ところで、これを書いている間にエイベックスがCCCDの採用を弾力化
とのニュースが。経営体制が変わったことによって現場サイド
の意見が反映されたのかもしれない。エイベックスといえば、
最初にコピーコントロールを本格導入したレコード会社だが、
このことを見るにつけ、CCCD導入が経営者のごく一部の誤った
判断から採用されたに違いないことが浮かび上がってくる。
