なんとか1年間続けてきたブログ。始めたときに何をテーマに書くかは特に
決めていなかったが、そのうち何か書きたいものができるだろうと思うに
まかせて書いていたら結局1年経ってしまった。
振り返って見てみると駄文ばかりでうんざりするくらいで、このまま続けても
多分文章力だって、内容だってあまり変わらないだろうと思う。
ただ、もう何年も会っていない友達とかが、たまに見てくれていたりする
みたいで、近況報告としては役立っているみたいなので、もう少し
続けてみることにする。
ところで、今年はブログが大きくブレイクした年だった。
ブログで本来独り言レベルのぼやきに近いようなことを情報発信することに
何の意味があるわけでもないだろう、という人もいるかもしれないが、
各プロバイダがこぞって始めたブログサービスをいろいろと辿ってみると、
そこでコミュニケーションが生まれていて、２ちゃんねる等の巨大掲示板、
ミクシィ等のソーシャルネットワークサービス等に並ぶ一つのコミュニ
ケーションツールとなっているように思う。
またフラストレーションのはけ口としての装置の役割があるようにも思う。
もしブログが手軽に情報発信できるホームページの代わりのようなものと
分析するなら、日本に限っていえばそれは少々的外れといえるだろう。
情報発信ということに関してもほぼ多くのネタは意味のないものや
情報というものに値しないものだとしても、いままで情報発信できなかった
人が発信する機会を得るということに関しては意味はある。期待しなかった
情報まで手に入れられるチャンスもあるわけだ。
別にブログの全てを肯定するわけではないけれど、まだじっくり腰を
据えて分析する現象であるように思う。
さて、先程近況報告はここでしていきたいと書いたが、下書きみたいな
評論等をここでどんどん書いていっても意味がないし、そのやり方のような
ものは見た目なども含めて少し考えていきたいと思う。いつ何をするか
とかは具体的にないけど。
