よく日本映画が嫌いな人で、それは何故かと問うと、映画見に行った後に
これならドラマでいいじゃんと思うことが多いからという人がいる。
作品の内容をみて映画とドラマの「際」を判別するのは難しいと僕も思うけど、
映画には映画である理由があって、ちなみに僕は次のような理由でよく日本
映画を見る。
・ちょっと退屈と思われるようなシーンも情緒として見られる。
・きわどいテーマを扱える。（TVドラマよりも毒がある）
・映画しか出ない俳優さんを見に行く。
・非日常的なシーンが多くても許せる
・感覚的にフィルム映像が気持ちいい。
テレビドラマ向きなのは、
・視聴率が取れそうな極めて普遍的なテーマ。
・しかも視聴者に割と直接的に訴えてくる分かりやすいもの。
・日常的。もしくはその時々のトレンドを扱う。
今日やってた「さとうきび畑の唄」はとてもいい作品だと思ったが、
極めてテレビドラマ的だとおもった。
