大学の頃の友人が故郷へ帰るとのことなので、しばしのお別れ
ということで一緒に飲む。
彼は諸事情により大学を卒業してからもう随分と経つというのに、
いまだに就職していない。いろいろその辺りの話はするけど、
端的にいって僕には彼が自分の行く先をまだ決めかねて
いるように思える。
あえて直接言ったわけじゃないけど、やはり自分の行く先は
自分できちんと決めて動かなければダメです。もうモラトリアム
な年頃じゃないんだから。
そうは言っても、就職している身ながら、自分もあまり変わらない
と思う。彼のほうが就職していない分、そうだと分かりやすい
だけなのかもしれない。
日曜日に小・中学校の同級と夜中まで話す。メインの話題は
一戸建ての家を購入しましたという話。（無論僕じゃなくて
その友人夫婦が）
家の値段から、年収、子供の幼稚園の話や、転校しない＝
学校を確定するようにここにこうして土地を買ったとか、
設計は風水を重視した等等・・・
いろんなことを話したけど、その根っこは一生涯地元生活型な話。
一方僕の友人の半分はその真逆に位置する、いわゆる都市型生活者。
僕はその二つのライフスタイルの違いがあまりに激しいせいで、
何が正しいのか、あるいはどちらがベターなのかよく分からなくなる。
明日からエゾロック。楽しんできます。僕のメインはBonniePink。
それにしても、こんな形で北海道に初上陸するとはねぇ。
スケジュールの関係でほとんど観光らしきことはできないので、
それはまた別の機会にゆっくりしたい所。
